In 2025, we shared the big news that we were moving into a new office, and now we are thrilled to welcome you into our new location! We have more than double the space of our previous office, where we can gather, organize, learn, and dream together!
In just the past few years, our staff has nearly doubled in size, and in 2026, we’ve already welcomed two new team members with more on the way! Many of our annual events have broken attendance records each year we’ve held them. And we’re excited to support the launch of Coalfield Justice Action, a 501c(4) political organization which will give members even more opportunities to engage with elected officials, endorse political candidates, and ensure they vote for policies that protect our futures.
All of this growth means we are building the power we need to carry out our mission. A stronger team means deeper organizing, more legal support, better communications, and more opportunities for our members to be heard. A bigger space means more room for gatherings, trainings, celebrations, and the community connections that fuel justice work.
None of this is possible without you: our members, donors, and supporters. Your commitment is the reason we can keep expanding the work, supporting staff, and opening our doors wider to the communities we serve. To say THANK YOU, we’d like to invite you to an open house in our beautiful new office. Join us for a fun evening and learn about us, our work, and how you can get involved.
Food and refreshments will be provided. Everyone is welcome, and we have a dedicated children’s area with activities to keep the little ones entertained! We look forward to celebrating this important milestone together with all of you.
We are asking those who attend to please bring any photos they may have with CCJ staff or at our events over the years to the Open House. These will be added to the decor of the new office!

This is a casual event for both CCJ members and the public to see our space and mingle with our staff. Feel free to come and go as you please, but our official ribbon cutting will happen at 6:30pm.
