Public Hearing – Revolution Cryogenic Gas Plant Permit Request

This Thursday at 6PM in Burgettstown: the ETC Revolution Cryogenic Plant in Bulger, PA is requesting an updated air pollution permit from the PA DEP.
The plant has a history of issues, including an explosion in 2022 and significant flaring episodes as recently as last month. Bulger is a designated Environmental Justice Area and is home to the Smith Compressor Station, Harmon Creek Gas Plant, and Revolution Pipeline; that means residents are already at greater risk of health and environmental harms from industrial activity than the surrounding communities.
It is crucial that residents living near this facility who have experienced issues with air quality, truck traffic, or noise and light pollution register to comment at this hearing.
