Ordinances like these help to protect residents from the impacts of industry development. It is important that residents not only share what they believe could be changed to increase protections, but also speak in favor of well written ordinances that consider the health and well-being of our community members.

Interested persons may appear at the aforementioned hearings to offer testimony in favor of or in opposition to or to ask questions/concerns of the Data Center, Injection Wells and Fossil Fuel Electric Generating Facilities Ordinances. Pertinent records and the proposed Ordinances may be inspected prior to the hearings at the Union Township Municipal Building.
